These photographic prints, postcards and stereopticons were originally in the collection of The Museum of Art and History at the McPherson Center, 705 Front Street, Santa Cruz, California. Their archivist, Rachel McKay offered the photo albums to the Heard Museum Archives because they did not fit the Museum of Art and History's mission. The only information available is the following: " ... two photo albums of Indian sites and people in New Mexico and Arizona. A couple of the loose photos are dated, 1921. The photos include places in California and other states as well. George Boundy is identified as a photogher for a few of the images"--Correspondence between Rachel McKay and Mario Nick Klimiades, October 8, 2001.
